Pfizer gives Viagra to jobless during hard times

The pharmaceutical giant Pfizer states it will give away free Viagra, as well as 70 other drugs, to people who’ve lost their jobs.

The world’s largest pharmaceutical company yesterday said it will give away free drugs for up to a year for Americans who have lost their job since the start 0f 2009 and have been using a mainstream Pfizer drug for at least three months.

Applicants will have to sign a document stating that they are having financial hardship and give a “pink slip” or other employer notice. Applications will be accepted through Dec. 31.
