What’s in a word?
We start today’s article knowing that you have the commitment to go talk through your problem with a doctor. You now accept that, for the vast majority of all men who suffer from ED, the only real choice about treatment will be whether to take Viagra, Cialis or Levitra – perhaps on its own or in combination with other treatment. Given that almost all men can get relief from erectile dysfunction (ED) quickly and easily, there is no reason to delay getting help.
Will Lilly’s Survey Have the Desired Effect on Cialis?
More than ten years after Pfizer (PFE) brought Viagra to market and brought erectile dysfunction out of the closet a new survey says a lot of men are still too embarrassed to talk about impotence with their doctors.
The study, paid for by Clialis-maker Eli Lilly (LLY), shows nearly 40 percent of men have never broached the subject with their physician, even though 82 percent of men know ED could be a symptom of serious health problems.
Lots of Sex May Prevent Erectile Dysfunction
THURSDAY, July 3 (HealthDay News) — Frequent sexual intercourse may cut down on a man’s chances of developing erectile dysfunction, Finnish researchers report.
“This is the same as any other part of the body. It’s what we in vascular surgery refer to as the ‘use it or lose it’ concept,” said Dr. Hossein Sadeghi-Nejad, an associate professor of urology at UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School Hackensack University Medical Center. “Sexual activity will promote maintenance of normal erectile function down the line.”
The report was published in the July issue of The American Journal of Medicine.
Keeping medical scare stories in perspective.
There are many stories on the internet (and elsewhere) about people who take ambien expecting a good night’s sleep, and then wake up to discover that they have been eating peanut-butter sandwiches during the night – personally, the only way I’d ever eat a peanut-butter sandwich is if I was asleep and then had no memory of it afterwards. Taste is personal. But back to the urban myths. It seems that people have been sleepwaking their way through routine tasks and putting themselves in danger by trying to cook or, worse, driving a car. The FDA, never a body to be panicked into anything, last year required all drugs that are classed as “sedative hypnotics” to carry a warning. It’s a strange kind of warning. It goes, “If you take this drug, don’t walk around when you’re alseep.” But you get the idea.
1 in 10 Men Suffer From Erectile Dysfunction
One in ten Men Suffer From Erectile Dysfunction Due to Work Related Stress.
New research has shown that 1 in 10 men experience erectile dysfunction (ED) and as many as 1 in 5 men suffer a loss of libido, as a result of work-related stress.
These latest figures suggest that 90% of men have shown at least one clinical feature of stress due to work but only 54% of men know that stress from work may be the cause of their ED. Stress, either at work or home, is a known cause of ED and prolonged stress is associated with low testosterone levels.
