FDA to review NexMed NDA for erectile dysfunction drug
Fixes to reflect application’s acceptance for review, not drug’s approval NEW YORK, Nov. 20, 2007 (Thomson Financial delivered by Newstex) — NexMed Inc. (NASDAQ:NEXM) Tuesday said the new drug application for its proposed erectile dysfunction treatment has been accepted for review by the Food and Drug Administration.
NexMed is working with its partner Warner Chilcott to gain regulatory approval for the treatment.
Shares of Nexmed, an East Windsor, N.J.-based pharmaceutical company, rose 4.9% to $1.51 on Tuesday.
