It’s ‘Viagra’ From Herbs
A HERBAL version of Viagra goes on sale in the high street this week.
Superdrug said Viapro, which doesn’t require a prescription, had been popular during a trial at their Brighton store.
The retailers will sell it at 116 stores nationwide priced at ?7.97 for two tablets.
The Viapro website says the pills are made with 22 herbs that boost sexual stamina and energy.
Superdrug health director Peter Newbould said: “This is a natural product that offers a credible and safe alternative to Viagra.”
A spokeswoman for Pfizer, who make Viagra, said: “If they have the clinical trial evidence to back their claims, then fair enough, but invariably with these sort of herbal treatments they don’t.”
