Mounties bust drug lab that daubed fake pills Viagra
MONTREAL – The Mounties say they have dismantled a clandestine lab near Montreal that produced ecstasy, methamphetamine and pills resembling erectile difficulty drugs.
Two men appeared in court this week in connection with the lab that operated in Repentigny, just east of Montreal.
The RCMP said at a news conference that a three-month investigation of the designer drug lab revealed it was operating out of a storefront.
The Mounties added that the producers went as far as painting the Viagra-like pills with blue commercial paint usually used on buildings.
Police conducted a search at the business last week and found thousands of pills as well as equipment used for producing the drugs.
