2-Year-Old Takes Viagra 4 Times a Day
The youngest user of Viagra is only two years old, his name is Calvin Muteesa and lives in Great Britain, Fox News reports.
The medicine to combat impotence was prescribed to him by doctors three months ago because he has difficulty breathing and high blood pressure. Viagra relaxes the pulmonary artery which brings blood to the heart and enables a better flow of oxygen and blood.
Two days after he was born the boy underwent surgery and his mother said he has had trouble breathing as soon as he was born. The doctors thought at first that the boy could not breathe due to kidney problems, but later they discovered that is not the case.
Elderly men to get free Viagra in Mexico City
Beginning December 1, Mexico City plans to hand out free medicine to elderly men with erectile dysfunction, the local government said.
“Everyone has the right to be happy,” said Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon, governor of the federal district that encompasses the Mexican capital.
“We have to protect people — senior citizens above all,” he said in a statement Thursday. “Many of them are abandoned and lack money. They don’t have medical services, and a society that doesn’t care for its senior citizens has no dignity.”
The government said it plans to offer Viagra, Levitra or Cialis — medication used to treat erectile dysfunction — under adequate medical supervision.
Pfizer Not to Sell Viagra Over-the-counter in Europe
The makers of the anti-impotence drug Viagra have withdrawn an application to make the 50-milligram tablets available over the counter in Europe.
Following concerns raised by European regulators about supply, the company Pfizer took the decision.
According to a European Medicines Agency committee, there would be too little medical oversight - implying related problems like heart disease could be missed.
Pfizer had wanted to make 50mg tablets available over-the-counter. It said the move would help those men too embarrassed to seek help from their doctor.
Romance is Viagra for women
Natasha Bedingfield has said nothing is sexier to her than a bit of good old fashioned romance.
The singer explained this week that she and fiance Matt Robinson regularly exchange love letters and gifts like flowers and chocolates: “Romance is female Viagra.
“In reality, relationships have ups and downs. If someone is worth enough to you, then you both fight to stay true through the tough times.
“Advice to guys: Keep the romance alive. Simple things like giving flowers or remembering special dates may sound cheesy but they do work.”
Natasha and Matt announced their engagement in September.
Fake Viagra passed through Malta
Customs officers at Le Havre have intercepted an important quantity of fake Viagra, which had passed through Malta on its way to Honduras. The total estimated price of the consignment is around e6 million.
Within the consignment, 50,000 blue pills imitated the Viagra marque of Pfizer, while a further 350,000 yellow pills were fakes of Viagra’s competitor, Cialis, produced by the company Eli Lilly.
A further 11 million white pills were intended to become synthetic drugs.
The consignment had been taken aboard at Latakia in Syria and transboarded at Malta before arriving at Le Havre on its way to Honduras.
